Kojima is making his debut with the Gallaudet University athletic training program during the 2011-12 season.
Kojima comes to Gallaudet from Syracuse University where he spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Orange. He was responsible for the care and rehabilitation for the Syracuse football and tennis teams. He also assisted other athletic trainers with basketball, lacrosse, soccer, track and field and the rowing programs. He graduated in 2011 from Syracuse with a M.S. in Exercise Science.
Kojima is a proud graduate of West Virginia University where he earned a bachelor in science degree. At West Virginia he worked as an athletic training student worker where he helped with the football and basketball teams. In 2008, Kojima fulfilled an internship with Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He graduated from WVU in '09.
Kojima grew up in Japan where he developed a strong desire and interest in athletic training and sports medicine. He came to the United States of America after he graduated high school in Japan.
When he is not in the office or at a Bison game he likes to run, bike and swim as he begins training for a triathlon.
