Weight Room/Fitness Complex
Eleven stationary bikes and a TV highlight the ground floor of the two-story workout area. On the top floor, five treadmills, two stationary bikes, two stepping machines and 15 various workout machines are available to exercise every muscle in the body. Three side-by-side 32-inch HD TVs provide a pleasurable workout experience, while floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural light on one side and overlook the pool on the other.
The workout room is populated by eight multi-purpose platforms – each replete with a bench and multiple weights of bars and plates – a multi-purpose cable machine and a “glute-ham” station. Gallaudet students can also make use of dozens of available free weights ranging from five to 100 lbs. Moreover, the weight room includes specialized equipment, such as rubber plates for explosive exercises, a “physio” ball for rehab, and PVC piping and wooden blocks used to focus on technique. Other available amenities include: boxing equipment, foam rollers, medicine balls, stress bands, hurdles, kettle bells, stability balls, jump ropes and a jump box for a complete workout experience.

Sunday: 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
Advanced Conditioning Class (Aug. 26-Oct. 12)
Tuesday: Noon-1 p.m. & 5 p.m.-6 p.m.
Wednesday: 6 a.m.-8 a.m. & 1:15 p.m.-2:15 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. & 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
