Come pack the Field House next Wednesday, free admission for Gallaudet faculty and staff
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Gallaudet University athletics department is excited to announce free admission to next Wednesday’s men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader (January 12) to all faculty, staff and teachers that present their official Gallaudet ID at the gate. The doubleheader is an afternoon special as the men’s basketball game tips at 2 p.m. against Lancaster Bible College followed by the women’s basketball game against College of St. Elizabeth at 4 p.m.
Gallaudet’s basketball teams are off to excellent starts in their first season in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). The women’s team is currently 9-0 overall and 6-0 in first-place of the conference. The men’s team sits at 7-3 with a 4-1 conference record, tied for second place.
“We want to thank our valued Gallaudet University faculty and staff for their continued support of Bison athletics,” said Director of Athletics Michael Weinstock about the promotion. “Our teams are playing great on the court and we hope our community will help support them by packing the stands on Wednesday.”
The basketball doubleheader is a great way to conclude the Wednesday workday and show your school spirit for Gallaudet! As with other extracurricular activities that may interfere with your work schedule please get your supervisor’s permission before attending during work time.
