Gallaudet athletics inducts one into Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University athletics department inducted one student-athlete Tuesday night into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society for demonstrating excellence in athletics and academics. Women's basketball junior guard Kori Koss (Delavan, Wis.) was honored.

To be eligible a student-athlete must have a 3.40 grade point average or higher, must be of good moral character, be a varsity sport letterwinner and be a junior or senior academic and athletic standing.

This is Gallaudet’s fourth Chi Alpha Sigma class as the chapter was established in 2013-14. GU honored the new class at the annual athletics banquet in the Field House. New inductees received a medal and graduating seniors received black and yellow honor cords to wear on graduation day. Members of previous years classes, who are now seniors, also received honor cords during the banquet.
