Fitness Complex Hours for Summer, Advanced Conditioning Classes offered

WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University fitness complex and weight room will be opened to members and students on Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. The complex is closed on the weekends. The summer hours begin now and last until the end of August.

Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Stephon Healey and his staff are offering an Advanced Conditioning Class this summer titled "Train Like an Athlete." Classes are held Monday through Friday. The two-hour classes start at 4 p.m. and begin on Monday, May 15 and run until Friday, Aug. 4. All Gallaudet staff, faculty, students are welcome to sign-up. Each participant must partake in the warm-up activities. The classes are a mixture of weight training and sports conditioning.

GYM MEMBERSHIPS
A reminder that Gallaudet faculty or staff can become a member of the GU fitness complex for $40 for the summer semester or $100 for the entire school year (Sept.-Aug.). Please see Anna Hall in the Field House, athletics department room 102, or email anna.hall@gallaudet.edu. Please make checks payable to Gallaudet University. You can also purchase using a credit card.
