Bison split twinbill with Williamson Trade

WASHINGTON, D.C.--Gallaudet split a twinbill with Williamson Trade School at Hoy Field. Williamson took the first game, 12-10, with the Bison bouncing back and taking the second in a 19-18 decision.
Williamson took a 7-0 lead in the first game, and Gallaudet answered with a seven-run fourth inning to tie before the visitors tacked on five runs in the fifth and seventh innings to secure the win.
Game two saw Williamson take a 6-2 lead, with the Bison turning the tables in a five-run third, a pair of three-run innings followed by an extra six runs in the last two innings to pick up the 19-18 decision.
The Buff and Blue recorded 17 hits over two games, with Kevin Alley's 2-for-3 performance leading in game one and Zane Noschese's 3-for-4 outing headlining game two. John Moore, Jr., Ryan Lentz and Justin Lathus each had two RBI in game one, next to Noschese's team-high four RBI in game two.
In the 29 runs scored, the entire Bison lineup save for three batters scored at least once, with Moore, Jr. and Alley touching home plate six times apiece for team-highs in runs scored.
Ryan Lentz and Zane Noschese worked the mound in game one; Warren Keller, Kevin Alley and Noschese pitched in game two. Keller picked up the win to even his season record at 2-2.
Gallaudet has a week off, with a doubleheader against Lincoln
University at Hoy Field on Sunday, April 20. The first pitch goes
at noon.
