The Bison suffered a heartbreaking loss to the hands of Valley Forge Christian College as the visitors scored five runs over the course of the last two innings to steal an 8-6 victory away from GU.

    The Gallaudet University baseball team lost a doubleheader to Christendom College (2-8) on the road Saturday afternoon. The Bison (4-33) lost the first game 9-3 and narrowly dropped the second game 10-8. A complete game story and updated statistics will be posted on Monday.

    The Gallaudet University baseball team earned a split with visiting Penn State-Harrisburg on a gorgeous Friday afternoon at Hoy Field. The Bison were two outs away from securing a 7-5 win in the first game but the wheels fell off as Penn State-Harrisburg (11-18) scored three runs to steal an 8-7 victory.

    The Gallaudet University home baseball game against Christendom College (0-8) scheduled for Wednesday afternoon (April 21) at 3:30 p.m. has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make-up the game on Monday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m. at Hoy Field.

Alan Hurwitz and First Lady Vicki Hurwitz took time out of their busy schedules to give back to community on Sunday, April 11. The group made up of mainly student-athletes from the baseball, cheerleading, football and men’s basketball programs made the short walk down 8th street in Northeast Washington to STRIVE DC to help out the non-profit group with its annual spring cleaning day.

    For the first time since 1997 the Gallaudet University baseball team celebrated a Capital Athletic Conference victory. Gallaudet defeated Stevenson University 5-3 in the first game of a seven-inning doubleheader on a sunny and clear Thursday afternoon at Hoy Field. The Bison nearly won the second game but lost 3-2 to the Mustangs.
