Bison record season-highs in runs and hits in first game of Spring Break trip
The Gallaudet University baseball team scored a season-high eight runs and had a season-high 14 hits but it wasn’t enough against Sewanee-The University of the South on Sunday afternoon at the Chain of Lakes Field in Winter Haven, Fla., as the Bison (0-8) lost 17-8 to the Tigers (4-8).

Gallaudet-Stevenson doubleheader postponed due to rain
The Gallaudet University baseball team will get a jumpstart on its Spring Break trip to Florida as the Capital Athletic Conference doubleheader scheduled for today at Stevenson University has been postponed due to rain. No make-up date has been announced at this time.

Mustangs gallop by Bison, 16-5
Stevenson University came out of the gates swinging against Gallaudet University on Thursday afternoon as the Bison gave up another big inning to start a game. The Mustangs plated eight runs before Gallaudet came to bat in the Capital Athletic Conference contest. GU battled back to plate five runs but in the end lost 16-5 in nine innings.

The Gallaudet University baseball team was swept by No. 7 Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon at Sea Gull Field as the Bison were shut out 17-0 and 9-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference doubleheader.

GU baseball announces changes to its upcoming game schedule
The Gallaudet University baseball schedule continues to be plagued by foul weather, as the Bison have had to move another game because of upcoming weather conditions. GU's home game with Salisbury University has been moved from Wednesday, March 3, to Friday, March 5. The Capital Athletic Conference game, slated for nine innings, will start at 2:30 p.m.

It was a windy and frigid day for baseball at Hoy Field as Gallaudet University hosted cross-town rival Catholic University of America on Sunday afternoon in the home opener for the Bison.

GU swept in CAC doubleheader by Mary Washington to begin season
It took an additional two weeks but the 2010 Gallaudet University baseball season got underway Saturday on the road in Fredericksburg, Va., as the Bison opened up against University of Mary Washington. The Eagles swept the Bison 7-2 and 3-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride took some time out before the start of the 2010 season to sit down and discuss the upcoming season, which will be the last for the Bison in the Capital Athletic Conference. GU will join the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) next season. Pride, now in his second season, is excited about the direction the Bison are heading in.

Poor field conditions led Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride to postpone the Bison home game with University of Mary Washington scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, February 24) until a later date. No announcement has been made at this time when the Bison and Eagles will make-up this game.

Baseball weekend doubleheaders postponed as snow lingers
The Gallaudet University baseball team has announced this weekend's doubleheaders with Penn State-Berks (Saturday, February 20) and Penn State-Altoona (Sunday, February 21) have been postponed as snow still blankets Hoy Field. No make-up dates for either doubleheader have been finalized at this time.

The 2010 season opener for the Gallaudet University baseball team will have to wait at least a week, if not longer, due to the historic blizzard that has dumped over three feet of snow in the District and surrounding metropolitan areas in the past six days.

GU Baseball announces new formation of Bison Club, plus will host BBQ on Oct. 24
The Gallaudet University baseball program, guided by former Major League Baseball player and current Bison coach Curtis Pride, is excited to make two important announcements. Pride is proud to announce the formation of the Bison Baseball Club and that the program will be hosting a Homecoming BBQ on October 24.

There will be a mandatory meeting for those interested in trying out for the 2010 GU baseball team on September 9 at 4 p.m. in the field house room 142. Coach Pride is also looking for two team managers as well.
