Bison add Frostburg State home game to the schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride has announced an addition to the 2011 schedule as the Bison will host Frostburg State University in a non-conference game on Tuesday, March 22, at Hoy Field. The nine-inning game is slated to begin at 3 p.m. The home game will mark the 12th contest at Hoy Field for the Bison (7-7) this season.

The Bobcats received votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association/D3baseball.com preseason Top 25 rankings. FSU also has two preseason All-Americans on its team in senior second baseman Matt Greene and senior pitcher Britton Quayle. The Bobcats are currently 6-6 this season including a doubleheader loss to Stevenson University, a team the Bison beat 18-6 last week.
