Cheerleading tryouts set for September 8-10

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Gallaudet University students interested in trying out for the 2009-10 cheerleading squad get ready to mark your calendar. The open tryouts will be held September 8-10 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on the track inside Hotchkiss Field on campus. If you are interested you must have a physical completed before tryouts. Questions on physicals please contact the Gallaudet University Athletic Training Staff.

The GU Cheerleading program is directed by Wendy Wiatrowski, now in her third season, and assisted by Kimberly Gray and Erin Camidge. The Bison seek new cheerleaders and stunt men for the 2009-10 calendar year to cheer at various Gallaudet athletic games and participate in various events on campus.
