Wendy Wiatrowski

Coach Wendy Wiatrowski enters her third year as the head coach of the Gallaudet University cheerleading program. The Valparaiso, Ind., native has experience as both a cheerleader and coach. She cheered in high school at the Indiana School for the Deaf and in college at Gallaudet. Wiatrowksi has attended Universal Cheerleading Association camps to keep current with the latest trends in cheer.

Wiatrowski is the Coordinator of Summer and Enrichment Programs for College of Professional Studies and Outreach at Gallaudet University. She is a proud alum of Gallaudet where she received her bachelor’s degree in Communications and her master’s degree in Administration Supervision.

Wiatrowski resides in Germantown, Md., where she enjoys biking, reading, shopping as well as water-based activities. She also likes to watch and coordinate cheerleading competitions.





Kimberly Gray

Assistant Coach

Coach Gray enters her third year as an assistant coach with the Gallaudet University cheerleading program. The West Allis, Wis., native has been involved with cheerleading all of her life. Gray cheered at Gallaudet for four years as she attended Bison football and basketball games to root on the Buff and Blue. In 2004, Gray finished fourth in the Capital Athletic Conference individual cheerleading competition. She earned her bachelor's degree in Family Child Studies from GU in May 2008. She is currently enrolled as a graduate student at Gallaudet.

Gray got her start in gymnastics when she was five-years-old and added cheerleading along the way. She cheered two years for West Allis Central High School and the Wisconsin School for the Deaf prior to attending Gallaudet. Twice she was named a Universal Cheerleading Association All-Star.

 





Erin Schneider

Schneider makes her debut with the Gallaudet University cheerleading program this year (2009-10). The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) graduate hails from upstate New York where she attended South Lewis High School. Schneider started as a cheerleader when she was 10. She cheered in high school and at RIT. Schneider is a certified American Sign Language interpreter. She is currently enrolled in the Gallaudet linguistics master's program.
