Football Opens 2006 Slate With Win Over Frostburg State JV

The Gallaudet Bison entertained a crowd of 1,000+ at Hotchkiss Field with a solid 32-11 win over Frostburg State University's junior varsity squad. Donning brand new uniforms and sparking gold helmets, the Bison were led by quarterback Jason Coleman, who spearheaded the offense towards 386 total yards overall.
The defense proved impressive, forcing 3 turnovers and holding
Frostburg State to -10 yards rushing and only 177 yards total
offense. Adam Tygart led the squad with 6 tackles, while Robin
Shannon, Mike Sizemore and Rantz Teeters all had the first
interceptions of their college careers
