April 15, 2009 Coaches Corner: Ed Hottle
Washington D.C.--As part of gallaudetathletics.com continuing coverage of the Bison 2009 spring practice session we sat down with Bison Head Coach Ed Hottle to get his opinions on spring and where the team is in week three.
Hottle who also coordinates the Bison defense has been spending time in the spring shoring up both sides of the ball. He has alternated through the spring to ensure that both sides of the ball are on pace to hit off-season goals.
April 6, 2009 Gallaudet Opens Spring Practice
Washington, D.C. - Gallaudet University opened Spring Practice on Wednesday April 4th looking forward to a high impact day. Spirits were high as the Bison took the field under a downpour of spring rain. The Bison looked unfazed by rain, as the players continued to move through the quick workout excitedly.
April 2, 2009 Freshmen Sensation Jacob Schlotthauer
Jacob Schlotthauer arrived at Gallaudet from Oshkosh, Wisconsin in July 2008 with the same green eyes as any other freshmen as they labored through their first week of practice.
March 23, 2009 Davis Named Defensive Coordinator
Washington D.C-- Gallaudet University Head Football Coach Edward Hottle has announced that secondary coach John Davis will now carry the title of Defensive Coordinator. Davis was a part of the defensive staff that saw the Bison defense force 26 turnovers in 2008.
