Bison football players lend a hand helping out new students on move-in day

WASHINGTON - An annual tradition for the Gallaudet University football program took place Wednesday morning as Bison players gathered at Benson Hall for two hours to help move-in new students coming to Kendall Green. The players used their strength and charm to provide a pleasant welcome to parents and students moving into their dorm rooms.

“Our players are always happy to help out in the Gallaudet community. Move-in day has become a tradition for our program to participate in and help the new students get their items into their rooms quickly and safely,” said GU head coach Chuck Goldstein, now in his fourth year. “We hope to see these new students and their friends and families out at Hotchkiss Field on Saturday’s this fall to support us and the rest of the Bison athletic teams.”

Gallaudet kicks off its season on Saturday, Sept. 7, on the road against Shenandoah University in a non-conference game at 7 p.m.
