ROSELAND, N.J. – Senior Adham Talaat (Springfield, Va.) and junior Jaris Alleyne (Waldorf, Md.) were named to one of the 2013 Division III Preseason All-American teams as announced by USA Football News. The Bison duo helped lead the team to a 7-3 record last season as Gallaudet posted a 5-2 mark in Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) play.
Alleyne is a two-time all-conference defender as he made his first appearance on the first team in 2012 after being selected to the second team defense during his freshman season. Talaat was selected as an all-conference honorable mention on defense in 2011. Talaat is a 2012 Capital One Academic All-American Division III football second team performer. He also was named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team for Division III for District 2. He is a two-time ECFC All-Academic team honoree. This past March he worked out for NFL scouts from the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles.
