WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Duke University Men's Basketball team came to the District to participate in the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Blue Devils finished the regular season ranked ninth nationally.

Duke earned the second seed in the West region of the tournament which begins play at the Verizon Center, located less than a mile from the Gallaudet campus. The Blue Devils will take on 15th seeded Belmont.

The team used the Field House for closed practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Coach K took time out of his schedule to recount memories of his days as a then-assistant coach/head JV coach with Army, which included matchups against Gallaudet and Catholic University, among other schools.
