Salisbury's Size Too Much for Gallaudet

Salisbury University used their height advantage to dominate Gallaudet on the boards and come out on top today 96-65 in Salisbury, Maryland. The main difference in today's game was rebounding, which Gallaudet tends to do well at.  Today, Salisbury outrebounded the Bison 39-20.

Tony Tatum lead all Bison scorers with 18 points on 7-11 shooting from the floor, including 4 of 6 from beyond the 3-point line. Sekoe White added 11 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Jeremy Thrush came off the bench to score 9 points.

Gallaudet also had trouble stopping Salisbury defensively, allowing Salisbury to make 56.5% of their shots, many from close range.  Salisbury also shot 18-19 from the free throw line.

With the loss, Gallaudet is 7-6 on the season.  They have one day off, before facing St. Mary's College in Southern Maryland, Monday afternoon, at 2 pm.  The game was originally scheduled for 8 pm, but has been moved up to 2 pm to allow the Bison enough time to return home before the roads into Washington DC close for Inaguration.
