Hoops Hysteria set for Friday evening at Field House

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Gallaudet University men's and women's basketball teams will host its annual "Hoops Hysteria" evening at the Field House on Friday, October 23, as part of Homecoming Weekend. The event will begin promptly after the GU Pep Rally at 6 p.m. with an estimated time of 7:15 p.m.

The Hoops Hysteria event will showcase both Bison basketball squads, as each team will run through drills and a brief men's scrimmage. The event will begin with a GU men's basketball alumni game. Also, the Howard University dance team will be in action during the event. The first 200 fans at the event will receive a free t-shirt. Come out and wear your Buff and Blue as you get a sneak peek of the 2009-10 Bison basketball teams.

Hoops Hysteria Schedule
7:15 p.m. - GU Men's Basketball Alumni Game
7:40 p.m. - Introduction of the 2009-10 Gallaudet Basketball Teams
7:50 p.m. - Women's Basketball Drills
8:00 p.m. - Howard University Dance Team
8:05 p.m. - Men's Basketball Scrimmage
8:35 p.m. - Event concludes
