AUSTIN, Texas – The Gallaudet University men's basketball head coach Brendan Stern hosted a successful Boys' and Girls' Offensive Skills Camp at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas, back on June 29-30. The camp had 40 participants, ages 10 to 18, learn from Coach Stern and the camp staff during the two-day camp.
"I would like to thank the parents who sent their children to our Offensive Skills Camp, which would not have been possible if not for the generous hospitality of the Texas School for the Deaf and its Athletic Director, Chris Hamilton," said Stern. "I also want to recognize our camp staff - Darnell Woods, Sean Moore, Brian Sipek and Arlene Weinstock - for their invaluable help. We look forward to expanding our camp program next summer and we wish the best of luck to our special group of campers on the hardwood and in the classroom this year."
The 2013 Gallaudet University Boys' and Girls' Offensive Skills Camp will be held next summer with dates and location to be announced at a later date.
