Bison lose CAC road game to Wesley

DOVER, Del. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team dropped a 10-0 decision to Wesley College on Wednesday night in a Capital Athletic Conference road game in Delaware's capital city.
Gallaudet (0-9, 0-3 CAC) was limited to one shot as junior Zane Nochese (Pittsburgh, Pa.) unleashed a shot on Wesley's goal over 30 minutes into the first half. Nochese is leading the squad in shots this season with eight. He has also scored Gallaudet's two goals in '09.
Sophomore goalie Poloko Qobose (Gaborone, Botswana) stopped 13 of the 23 shots on goal the Wolverines took in the loss for the Bison. Qobose's counterpart Tom Mikulski (one save) earned the victory as he played the first half. Wesley used two different goalies in the second half.
The Wolverines (5-3, 2-0 CAC) had nine different goal scorers in the game. Wesley scored five goals in each half. Omega Dabale led the Wolverines with two goals. Wesley outshot Gallaudet 34-1 and took five corner kicks to the one by the Bison.
GU returns home and will host Southern Virginia University on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in a non-conference game.
