WASHINGTON, D.C. - Gallaudet University men’s volleyball coach Emma Racila will host a pre-season team meeting on Wednesday, September 28, at 7 p.m. in room 142 in the Field House. All men who are interested in joining the Bison for their return into men’s volleyball should attend. Racilla hopes to start a winning tradition here at Gallaudet as the sport of men’s volleyball is on the rise nationally at the collegiate level. Her rich history in the sport along with her passion for the game will help the Bison transition smoothly into men’s volleyball. The team will play on a club level for this upcoming spring season but with a high number of participants and a successful season men’s volleyball could be elevated to varsity status as soon as spring 2013.
