Kingstedt named NEAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for astonishing fifth time

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its weekly conference student-athlete of the week awards for Oct. 13 and freshman Otto Kingstedt (Stockholm, Sweden) was chosen as the NEAC Men's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week along with Alex Kane, a senior from Penn St.-Abington. This is Kingstedt's fifth NEAC Runner of the Week award this season and the fourth week he has earn the honor.

Kingstedt won his third race this season at the Goucher College Cross Country Classic with a time of 27:35.23. Kingstedt's time was one minute and 59 seconds faster than Stevenson University's Jackson Morrow, who finished second overall. He now holds two of Gallaudet's top-five all-time fastest finish times in just his debut season. He was one of three Bison to place in the top 10 en route to Gallaudet capturing second place overall out of six teams, which was their third top-two team finish of the season thus far.

This is the fifth time in Gallaudet history that a runner has earned a NEAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor.
