Kingstedt earns third NEAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its weekly conference student-athlete of the week awards for Sept. 29 and freshman Otto Kingstedt (Stockholm, Sweden) was chosen as the NEAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for a third time this season.

The freshman runner claimed his second straight individual championship after finishing first during the Lancaster Bible College Homecoming Invitational last Thursday. Kingstedt completed the 8K course in 27:39.3, leaving him over a minute and half ahead of the rest of the 28-runner field that included multiple competitors from NEAC squads. His efforts helped the Bison also claim first place overall as a team. Kingstedt has now placed as a top-two finisher at all three events he has competed in this season.

This is the third time in Gallaudet history that a runner has earned a NEAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor.
