Catholic bests Gallaudet in doubleheader action, 2-0

WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Cardinals put together 21 hits over two games (8/13) which proved to be the deciding factor behind a combined 17 runs.  The Bison were only able to pull off four hits over both games. In their fourth game of the season, Gallaudet's Keri Lin Schmidt, Kallie Williams and Lori Hower all combined for the four hits, with Williams taking two in the first game. Lori Hower (first base) had a team-high five put-outs in Game 1, with Cardinal catcher Sophie Gage taking the game-high honors (9 PO). In Game 2,  leftfielder Katie Romano totaled four put-outs, leading the Bison.  Once again, a Cardinal catcher took game-high honors. Kat Ager had eight put-outs with Lynn Brown (first base) taking seven.

The Bison (1-3, 0-2 CAC) continue conference play when they travel to Mary Washington on March 28, with the first pitch at 2:30 p.m.
