Bison wrap up 2007-08 slate with a loss to York
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Gallaudet closed out its regular season
against York College at the Field House. The Spartans won,
83-39.
Freshman Nukeitra Hayes led the Buff and Blue with 16 points, and
Brittainy Payne pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds. Guard
Priscilla Biskupiak added 6 points, as did Kari Olney. Biskupiak
had three assists.
Spartan Keli Ward paced the visitors with a 24-point performance as
three other starters finished in double figures.
Hayes deflected three Spartan shots while Payne added another block
as part of the defensive effort for the Bison.
