Amanda joins the basketball team after a stand-out career at
Indiana School for the Deaf where she played volleyball,basketball,
softball, and track...favorite practice drill is The Olympic Drill
because she gets to run, shoot lay-ups, pass, and shoot all at
once...favorite thing about basketball is shooting and
scoring...favorite Gallaudet professor is Dr. Dennis Galvan because
he makes her laugh...favorite class she's taken is Introduction to
Psychology because it helped her determine her future major and
career...favorite thing about Gallaudet is how she feels at home on
campus...favorite thing about Washington DC is something new
happens everyday...says her father had the biggest impact on her
life- she wouldn't be playing basketball if it wasn't for
