WASHINGTON, D.C. – The wins continue to pile up for the No. 24 Gallaudet University women's basketball team as the Bison posted a 55-44 victory over SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday at the Field House in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game. The win is the 15th in a row for Gallaudet (15-0, 12-0 NEAC) this season, which ties the program record set by the 1998-99 team.
Gallaudet, who is off to its best start in program history, surpassed its win total from a year ago when the Bison went 14-12, their first winning season in a decade. The 15 wins are also the most in a season for Coach Kevin Cook now in his fourth year at the helm.

The senior forward/center also made a team-high four steals and passed out three assists. Fellow senior center Nukeitra Hayes (Anderson, Ind.) scored 11 points and grabbed seven boards in the win. The pair scored the first four points of the game, a minute and a half in, to give the pair 2,000 combined career points at Gallaudet.
Junior guard Andrea Amati (Frederick, Md.) made her first start since December 8 and logged 29 minutes. She tied her season-high total of 12 points and grabbed a season best 11 rebounds. Freshman guard Stephanie Weiss (Wellington, Fla.) added nine points, four assists and three rebounds in 35 minutes of action.
