WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's basketball program will participate in the 6th annual National Deaf Girls Basketball camp on June 15-19 at the Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, Md.
The camp will be open to girls basketball players in grades 4th through 12th. The cost for the camp is $275 for the early bird special if you sign up before May 15 and $300 if you sign up after May 15. The camp is a residential camp.
The "first-class" camp is all about providing mentorship/role models for deaf female athletes as well as developing opportunities for young student-athletes on and off the court. The National Deaf Girls Basketball Camp is the only basketball camp for deaf females that provides direct communication amongst coaches and fellow campers while creating an unforgettable experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
