Gallaudet Offense Continues to Improve in Loss to Medgar Evers College

Gallaudet's offensive attack was on display today against Medgar Evers College, as seven different Bison attempted shots on goal, led by Virginia Keller with 10 shots on goal and one goal scored, as Medgar Evers prevailed 6-2. Medgar Evers entered today's game on a five game winning streak.

Gallaudet's offense has gotten more agressive with each game and Gallaudet is wearing down their opponents in the second half as they continue to improve their stamina. Nora Torres scored Gallaudet's first goal at the 33 minute mark of the second half when she rebounded a pass that bounced off the opposing goalie and kicked it into the goal. Keller's goal came five minutes later when she drove pass the Medgar Evers defenders and kicked a 15 yarder pass the goalie.

Gallaudet attempted 18 shots today, including 3 by Samantha Bulewich and two by Kahilia Merritt, but despite shooting from everywhere and aiming at different parts of the goal, they were not able to get past the outstanding play of the Medgar Evers goalie.

Gallaudet goes to 0-12 on the season. Their next game will be October 14 vs. York College at 7 pm at Hotchkiss Field.
