COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The Gallaudet University women's soccer team dropped its North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) match against SUNY Cobleskill, 5-0. This marks the second straight game that the Bison have lost by the same margin.
The Tigers (2-10, 2-5 NEAC) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half as Morganne Dick (two goals, one assist) and Cassandra Harris netted the first two marks as the teams went into halftime with the Fighting Tigers up two. Dick and Robyn Iversen (two goals, one assist) scored the second half goals for Cobleskill.
Gallaudet (2-12, 1-8 NEAC) had five shots in the first half as Cobleskill outshot the Bison 42-9 in the game. Junior goalie Jennifer Livengood (Jacksonville, Fla.) made 18 saves as she faced 23 shots on goal.
The Bison return to action tomorrow (Sunday, Oct. 12) as they take on NEAC opponent SUNY Polytechnic Institute (5-7-1, 5-2 NEAC) on the road.
