READING, Pa. - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team suffered its worst loss of the season as the Bison were shut out on the road Saturday, 13-0, against Penn St.-Berks, the top team in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC).
The Nittany Lions (9-2-1, 8-0 NEAC) scored early and often against the Bison (2-9, 1-8 NEAC). Penn St.-Berks took a 9-0 lead into halftime and added four goals in the second half.
Gallaudet was held to no shots for the second straight game.
Freshman goalie Silvya Levesque (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) was kept busy during the game as she made five saves.
Penn St.-Berks was led by Nicole Brigante's hat trick as she scored three goals. The Nittany Lions had 10 different goal scorers and recorded 10 assists on 13 goals.

Gallaudet will next travel to Front Royal, Va., on Tuesday, Oct. 11, to face Christendom College (4-4) in a non-conference game at 4:30 p.m.
