Season Preview: Personal goals will help team success for GU women's swimming and diving

WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet Univeristy women's swimming and diving team under the direction Head Coach Larry Curran come into the 2016-17 season ranked fifth in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) after finishing in fifth place at the 2016 NEAC championships.

The Bison plan to set and achieve personal goals during the 2016-17 season with the intention of finding success in competition while they are working to achieve their goals.

"The student-athlete is the one with the goal," said Curran. "I can help them achieve their goals but it is up to the student-athlete to achieve their own goal. It is more fulfilling for the student-athlete and they will go farther when they determine their own goals."
