Lehmann featured in CAC "Introducing" Profile

YORK, Pa. - The Capital Athletic Conference has a new "Introducing..." student-athlete profile and Gallaudet University volleyball libero Shana Lehmann (Frederick, Md.) was selected to answer nine questions from the CAC involving issues in the classroom, athletics and in the community. Lehmann is the first Bison to be profiled this season.

Lehmann and three GU teammates opened the 2009 season in Taipei, Taiwan, as a member of the USA deaf volleyball team that participated in the 2009 Deaflympics. Lehmann and the USA squad advanced to the gold medal match against the Ukraine, but lost 3-0 to earn silver medals. Since her return to the Gallaudet lineup, the Bison have compiled an 18-5 record and are among the leaders in the CAC standings. Lehmann is also top in the conference for digs per set with an average over six.
