GU begins its season on Friday, Sept 1, on the road at the annual Battlefield Classic in Gettysburg, Pa. The Bison have kicked off their schedule at the Battlefield Classic for the past eight seasons. GU will go up against St. Mary's College of Maryland, Penn St.-Harrisburg, Gettysburg College and Kenyon College.
The Bison open up NEAC play with a road game at Wilson College on Sept. 6 before heading up to Massachusetts to participate in the two-day Smith College Invitational (Sept. 8-9). GU will play Johnson State College, Suffolk University, College of Mt. St. Vincent and Western New England University while in Northampton, Mass.
Gallaudet makes its home opener on Tuesday, Sept. 12, against McDaniel College at 7 p.m. The Bison will travel to New York to face NEAC foe Morrisville State College and SUNY Geneseo (Sept. 15). The buff and blue return home to face the Saints from Marymount (Va.) University (Sept. 20). GU will hit the road for two conference games at College of Saint Elizabeth (Sept. 22) and Bryn Athyn College (Sept. 23).
The Bison will host Stevenson University (Sept. 27) before hosting the 11th Annual Worthington Classic, an eight-team tournament on Sept. 29 and 30. Gallaudet will face Neumann University and Nichols College on Sept. 29 before going up against Kean University on Sept. 30 along with a fourth match later in the day. The other participants in the tournament include DeSales University, Keystone College, Montclair State University and Rochester Institute of Technology.
The month of October begins with the Bison on the road against NEAC rival Penn St.-Berks (Oct. 4) and a quick road trip to Frederick, Md., to face Hood College (Oct. 6). Gallaudet returns home for one of its 15 home contests this season. GU will face Catholic University of America (Oct. 11) before hosting a NEAC Crossover Weekend against Penn St.-Abington (Oct. 13), SUNY Poly (Oct. 14) and SUNY Cobleskill (Oct. 14). GU's seven-game homestand continues with matches against University of Mary Washington (Oct. 18), University of Scranton (Oct. 20) and Lebanon Valley College (Oct. 20). The latter two matches are on homecoming weekend. Gallaudet will travel to Towson, Md., on Oct. 24 before coming back to the Field House for Senior Night against Lancaster Bible College (Oct. 26).
The NEAC tournament quarterfinals will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 31, or take place Friday, Nov. 3. The NEAC tournament continues with the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 4, followed by the championship on Sunday, Nov. 5. Gallaudet has hosted the NEAC championship tournament three times (2012, '13, '14) since joining the conference in 2010. The NCAA tournament will start the following week.
