WASHINGTON, D.C. – Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride announced details for the first annual GU Baseball Golf Classic that will be held Monday, October 18, in Rockville, Md., at the Norbeck Country Club starting at 7:30 a.m. The money raised from the golf classic and silent auction will help the Gallaudet baseball program.
The GU Baseball Golf Classic is open to anybody willing to play, have a fun time and help the Bison baseball program. The tournament fee is $600 per team or $175 per golfer and includes continental breakfast, lunch and a gift. Awards will be presented to the top three teams as well the top individual performance for longest drive and closest to the pin. Coach Pride and tournament director Ken Barksdale are also seeking sponsorships for the golf classic.
