INDIANAPOLIS – The Gallaudet University baseball program is featured in the spring edition of Champion magazine (Vol. 6, Issue 2) published by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Bison baseball team is written about in the NCAA News briefs section on page 18 with an article titled; “Gallaudet players SEAL the deal.” The article describes the preseason workouts the Bison baseball team did with a former Navy SEAL this past January.

About NCAA Champion Magazine
Champion magazine illuminates its readers about the most important issues facing intercollegiate athletics while also promoting the thousands of quality people who support college sports each day. Each issue of Champion recaps NCAA news from the previous three months, but this magazine offers much more than that. With an elevated emphasis on quality graphic design and outstanding photography, Champion focuses on the relevant NCAA issues and top people within the organization. And each issue leads off with a cover portrait featuring the most important person in college sports: the student-athlete. Their mission is to illustrate how good people do great things to support intercollegiate athletics. Champion magazine began publishing in January 2008 and produces 30,000 copies per issue nationwide.
