GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its student-athlete of the week awards for March 11 and Gallaudet University sophomore Austin Sliva-Wynne (Richmond, Texas) was selected as the NEAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Sliva-Wynne threw a complete game in a 6-3 win over Wilson College last Sunday at Hoy Field. He limited Wilson to three earned runs and six hits in seven innings of work. Sliva-Wynne issued just one walk and stuck out a career-high 11 batters in his only pitching appearance of the week. In addition to his work on the mound, he also had a double and a run scored in the win.

Penn St.-Berks junior outfielder Mason Pennypacker was named the NEAC Baseball Player of the Week. Pennypacker batted .611 in six games (11-for-18) with two doubles, four RBI, six runs scored and three stolen bases. He also drew five walks as Penn St.-Berks went 3-3 during its Spring Break trip. Pennypacker finished the week with a .696 on-base percentage and a .722 slugging percentage.

This marks the second NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Bison this season and Sliva-Wynne's first NEAC honor of his career.
