Hinton enters his second season on the Gallaudet football coaching staff where he will be working with the offensive line.

Hinton was a four-year letterwinner (2008-11) where he served as captain on the 2011 team. The three-time ECFC All-Academic Team honoree was selected to the 2012 NFF Hampshire Honor Society months after being named a 2011 NFF National Scholar-Athlete candidate. For two years in a row the offensive lineman was a Top 10 Scholar-Athlete at Gallaudet and he also earned the prestigious Al Van Nevel Memorial Award given to a senior student-athlete who holds a GPA of 3.5 or better, demonstrates positive leadership on and off the field and consistently exhibits good sportsmanship on and off the field. The Knoxville, Tenn., native is continuing his education at McDaniel College where he is working on his master’s degree in deaf education.

Hinton and his wife currently reside in Washington, D.C.
