In their first season in the NEAC, the Gallaudet University men's and women's basketball programs received seven awards shared amongst six honorees – the most for any school in the conference.

Junior forward Layton Seeber (Champaign, Ill.) was named to All-NEAC first team while both junior guard Tony Tatum (Gardendale, Ala.) and sophomore forward Danny Kelly (Strongsville, Ohio) received third team all-conference honors. Conference coaches selected 15 total players to be honored (five for each team).
