GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) released its 2017-18 men's basketball all-conference awards Thursday and two players from Gallaudet University's men's basketball team were honored for the second straight year.

Senior forward Andy Cruz (Bronx, N.Y.) landed on the first team while sophomore guard Noah Valencia (Riverside, Calif.) makes a second consecutive appearance on the third team.

This is Cruz's second all-conference honor as he was named to the second team last year. He ended his four-year career with the most wins by any Bison men's basketball player in four years with 65 wins. In four years, he accumulated 1,204 career points and ranks 17th all-time in school history.

Valencia was second in the NEAC for three-pointers and ranked 20th in Division III for three-point field goal attempts. The sophomore guard was also fifth in the conference for points as he started every game for the Bison (9-17).

SUNY Poly senior forward Kevin Williams was honored as NEAC Player of the Year as he led the conference in points (512) and recorded 12 double-doubles. Penn St.-Abington freshman guard Devin Hill was named NEAC Rookie of the Year as he was the leading scorer for the Nittany Lions with 362 points.
