WASHINGTON - For the second time in two days, freshman Chris Martinez (El Paso, Texas) shocked spectators, setting a new Gallaudet record here at the Field House pool. Martinez's efforts were not enough as Elizabethtown College (2-1) defeated the Bison, 149-85.

After setting a new school record in the 100-yard breaststroke less the 24-hours prior, Martinez won the 200-yard breaststroke event reaching the wall in two minutes, 22.47 seconds. His time broke the old record of 2:29.79 set by Michael Hubbs in 2005. This is Martinez's fourth school record in three meets this season.
