GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its conference student-athlete of the week awards for the week of Dec. 11 and Gallaudet University sophomore Ben Sealts (Ottawa, Ohio) was selected as the NEAC Men's Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Sealts was selected after he won every event he entered at the Cedar Crest College Falcon Invitational last weekend as GU came in first place with 642 points. Sealts had a remarkable weekend as he won nine individual events and was a member of four first-place relay teams during the two-day invitational. Sealts set four new school records in the 50-yard butterfly, 50-yard breaststroke (twice) and 100-yard breaststroke. He also set a new personal record with a time of 55.24 in the 100-yard butterfly.

This is Gallaudet's sixth NEAC Swimming & Divining Student-Athlete of the Week honor this season and Sealts' eighth career NEAC weekly award.

The Bison will next host Penn St.-Altoona on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at 6 p.m. in the Field House pool.
