GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its conference student-athlete of the week awards for the week of Jan. 22 and Gallaudet University sophomore Ben Sealts (Ottawa, Ohio) was selected as the NEAC Men's Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this season.

Sealts led Gallaudet last week with a split in two home meets. On Jan. 18, Sealts finished first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.21) and 200-yard individual medley (2:09.41) against Penn St.-Altoona. He also placed second in the 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard freestyle relay. The next day against Stevenson University, Sealts won the 200-yard butterfly with a personal best time of 2:12.27. He also won the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.63), 200-yard individual medley (2:11.13) and 400-yard freestyle relay (5:15.17).

It was a clean sweep for the Gallaudet swimming program as junior Julia Miller-Notestone (Medford, Ore.) was selected as the NEAC Women's Swimmer of the Week.

This is Gallaudet's seventh NEAC Swimming & Divining Student-Athlete of the Week honor this season and Sealts' ninth career NEAC weekly award.

Gallaudet's men's team will next swim on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m. against Elizabethtown College in the Field House Pool.
