WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University men’s and women’s cross country program has officially released its 2015 fall schedule as announced by head coach Byron Moore.
The Bison will begin the season on the Eastern Shore of Maryland as they run in the Salisbury University Fall Classic at Winterplace Park on Saturday, Sept. 5. Two weeks later, GU will get its first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action in the Penn St.-Abington Invitational hosted at Lorimer Park.
The month of October is a busy one for the buff and blue as four meets highlight the slate. October starts and ends at Jamesville Beach Park in New York. GU will run in the Cazenovia College Invitational on Oct. 3 and return on Halloween (Oct. 31) for the NEAC Championships hosted by Cazenovia. The Bison will make the short trip to Towson, Md., on Oct. 10 to participate in the Goucher College Cross Country Classic. GU stays local, a week later, at the Hood College Open Meet (Oct. 17) at Utica Park in Maryland.
If any Bison runners qualify for the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship that will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, and the national championship meet is a week later at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis.
There are no home meets for the Bison in 2015.
