WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's and women's cross country program has officially released its 2017 fall schedule as announced by head coach Byron Moore.
The Bison will begin the season in Morrisville, N.Y., on Sept. 9, at the Morrisville State Invitational. This will be Gallaudet's first look at the 2017 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Cross Country Championship course being hosted by Morrisville State College.
Gallaudet will take a week off before running at the Hornet Harrier hosted by Shenandoah University on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Kernstown Battlefield. The following week the Bison will run twice in three days. Gallaudet participates in the Lancaster Bible College Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 28, followed by the Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 30, hosted by Salisbury University.
The month of October finds the Bison making the short trip to Towson, Md., to run at the Goucher Classic hosted by Goucher College on Oct. 7. GU will then make the short trip up to Utica Park in Frederick, Md., on Saturday, Oct. 14, to run in the Hood College Open.
The Bison will receive a week off before the 2017 NEAC cross country championship on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Morrisville, N.Y.
If any Bison runners qualify for the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship that will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa.
There are no home meets for the Bison in 2017.
