Bison season wraps up at 2017 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional

NEWVILLE, Pa. – The Gallaudet University men's cross country program had four runners finish at the 2017 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet here on a cold Saturday at Big Spring High School and hosted by Dickinson College.

Gallaudet was one runner shy of qualifying for a team place as 58 teams ran in the NCAA regional meet.

Haverford College won the meet with 25 points as its top five runners placed in the Top 10 as it swept the first three spots. Haverford junior Graham Peet completed the 8K race in 25 minutes, 22.9 seconds.

The Bison were led by freshman Chance Hohneke (Lehi, Utah), who finished 330th overall as he crossed the finish line in 33.29.1. Sophomore Robert Parcells Jr. (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was close behind in 346th place (35:36.9) followed by sophomore Kai Christenberry (Birmingham, Ala.) in 348th place (36:03.8). The fourth and final Bison to finish the race was junior Gunner Hahn (Marshfield, Wis.) in 350th place (36:25.6).
