WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's and women's cross country program has officially released its 2019 fall schedule as announced by head coach Byron Moore.
The Bison will begin the season locally on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Howard University Labor Day Classic being held at nearby Kenilworth Park. GU stays local with its next meet on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Cardinal Classic being hosted by The Catholic University of America at Colmar Manor Community Park in Colmar Manor, Md.
Gallaudet will run at the Hornet Harrier hosted by Shenandoah University for a fourth straight year on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Kernstown Battlefield in Winchester, Va.
The following week the Bison will run at the Don Cathcart Invitational in Salisbury, Md., on Saturday, Oct. 5, hosted by Salisbury University to begin the month of October. The Bison will take a week off before they make the short trip up to Utica Park in Frederick, Md., on Saturday, Oct. 19, to run in the Hood College Open.
The Bison will receive a week off before the 2019 NEAC cross country championship on Saturday, Nov. 2, in Cobleskill, N.Y..
If any Bison runners qualify for the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship that will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, in Bethlehem, Pa., hosted by Muhlenberg College.
There are no home meets for the Bison in 2019.
