Moore enters his sixth season as head coach of the Gallaudet cross country and track and field programs. He was appointed to his post on Sept. 10, 2014 after serving as Interim Head Coach for three months.

It was a busy first season for Moore as Gallaudet hosted two home meets, including the 2015 North Eastern Athletic Conference men's and women's cross country championships at Kenilworth Park. The Bison men's team finished sixth overall and the women's team placed ninth at the conference championships. Alex Close (second team) and Dylan Rich (third team) earned All-NEAC honors while Lindsey Corthell earned all-conference honors on the third team.

Moore is no stranger to Gallaudet as he has served as an assistant coach to the men’s and women’s track and field program for five years (2010-14) and was an assistant on the 2009 football team.

The LaPlata, Md., native earned his degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University in 2005. While at Salisbury, Moore was a member of the football (1999-2001) and track and field teams (2000).

Prior to joining Gallaudet he coached varsity and junior varsity football at McDonough and LaPlata High Schools in Southern Maryland. He served in a variety of positions from head coach, defensive coordinator, offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator over the years.

“I have the experience to match the drive and motivation that I have always possessed to take teams to the next level,” said Moore. “Right now, I am on a mission to improve the academic and athletic success of everyone that I have the opportunity to coach.

Moore and his wife, Nicole, have two sons (Marcus and Lance) and reside in Indian Head, Md.
