WASHINGTON, D.C. – The media coverage continues to grow for the No. 24 Gallaudet University women's basketball team as the Washington Post features an article on the team in today's (Thursday, January 20) sports section (page D3) and online. Washington Post sports reporter Kathy Orton came out to Gallaudet last week to interview Coach Kevin Cook along with seniors Easter Faafiti (Pittsburg, Calif.) and Nukeitra Hayes (Anderson, Ind.). The Bison (14-0) were featured on Fox 5 news on Monday about their incredible start to the season and the special relationship the team has with the University of Maryland women's basketball team.
Gallaudet is home this weekend as the Bison welcome SUNY Cobleskill in on Saturday, January 22, for a 1 p.m. North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game and will host SUNYIT on Sunday, January 23, at 1 p.m. for another conference game.
