DENVER – Gallaudet University women's basketball coach Brendan Stern recently participated in the 4Kay Run Hydrated by POWERADE Zero held at the 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Final Four. Stern and his assistant coaches Michael Fisher and Robert Siebert participated in the run on March 31 to raise money to benefit cancer research. All money that was raised was donated to the Kay Yow Cancer, the late and former coach at North Carolina State. Coaches from every school at all three divisions were represented. Stern, Fischer and Siebert were in Denver to partake in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) national convention which is held in conjunction with the Women's Final Four.
