WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet women's basketball team will be hosting their second annual Parent/Daughter Basketball Clinic on Sunday, Oct. 20, in the Field House from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The clinic is open to all girls 7 to 18 years old and their parents and cost $10 per participant if paid by Sept. 27. After Sept. 27 the cost is $15 per participant, walk-ups are welcome.
The clinic features the opportunity for parents and their children to learn the basics of basketball from head coach Stephanie Stevens, assistant coach Nikkia Smith and the entire women's basketball team. This is a great opportunity for parents and their daughter(s) to learn about the game of basketball, spend quality time together and to have fun.
"Come on out and join us for some fun on the basketball court. We look forward to seeing you and your daughters there," said Stevens.
The four-hour event has a packed schedule that includes drills, games, trivia and giveaways, a tour of the Field House and opening and closing remarks from Coach Stevens and her staff. Participants will also have the chance to meet and greet the women's basketball team.
If you have questions about the clinic please e-mail Coach Stevens at firstname.lastname@example.org.
